Dear Friends of Education, Twenty-one years ago, the Ontonagon Area Scholarship Foundation presented its first scholarship award of $500 to a graduate of the class of 1984. Since that humble beginning, and twenty years later the foundation has paid nearly $170,000 to 266 graduates. The foundation's growth is clear testimony to the power of a dream and to what can be accomplished with the financial support of the many friends of our school community. In addition to its past efforts in offering one-time awards of financial assistance to our graduates, the foundation is also committed to reaching its goal to offer significant scholarship funds for multiple years to all its graduates seeking to further their education. Much has been accomplished, and we dream of even more, but we are dependent on your generosity and support.
